Any experience dealing with Siltech cables sold from Japan?

Looking to get back into lower end Siltech speaker and RCA cables (770i) for my current system of Radu Tarta 300B, Paul Birkeland 830B, and JA Burgess 45-2A3 powering Klipsch La Scala AL5s through EAR Yoshino 868PL. There are pre-owned offerings from Japan that are significantly cheaper than we have here in the States, but hoping to avoid counterfeits. Has anyone had any experience dealing with second-hand Japanese market? Am I taking too much of a chance, especially through fleeBay? Appreciate your input.

I'd be very leery of buying pre-owned well known expensive cables from Asia counterfeits are very thick on the ground there. And the usual advice if the deal seems to good to be true it likely is.

One can save buying used, but there are a LOT of counterfeit cables that’s often not easy to distinguish from genuine.

It helps to bolster confidence if the seller has the original purchase receipt, or the box/packaging it came with, or the seller has a great reputation.

Shortly after the product launch, I purchased Siltech Classic Legend for its highly regarded reviewed performance at a relatively affordable price point.  Seemed high enough performance and safer than to try to buy Siltech used.

The prices are a giveaway. No way Siltech's go for such low prices. Also, there are a few sellers who repeatedly try and sell knock-offs. Check their usernames and all their products over the course of a week and you will see the scammers.

Stick to Agon and USAM and WBF.
