Any comments on Presto Music Streaming Services?

Presto looks interesting and they have a nice catalog with some rare stuff that isn't easy to find elsewhere. However their Android app is very basic and crashed several times on my Pixel 8 Pro smartphone, just on the very first day I started using it.

The BluOS and Eversolo integration is a good start. I'd like to see it added to more things though, maybe popular brands like Innuos, Aurender, Auralic, that sort of thing. Roon integration seems like it would be a great fit as well.

Thanks for your email above regarding classical and jazz playlists. I also mostly listen to albums since I am able to pick and choose what I want. On the other hand, sometimes, I select a QoBuz playlist to listen to. AND, in many cases, I discover an ALBUM that I really like and make it a favorite. Qobuz playlists are excellent way to discover new music.

I suggest you listen to the QoBuz Infigo Audio playlist. These are the Infigo Audio company’s tracks they use at the various audio shows. Infigo Audio will be curating this list by adding and deleting tracks over time so it might change gradually. I find that I really like their track selection and, of course, I have made some of these albums my favorite.

The Infigo Audio playlist contains the essential tracks in Hi-Res 24-bit for an unequalled sound quality (FLAC 24-Bit / 192kHz). These tracks are fun to listen to.

Not sure why anyone would want Classical or Jazz playlists curated by someone else, but if that is a priority you would be better served by something like Apple, Spotify 

@hgeifman Presto is focused on albums, definitely not playlists. Just my taste of course, but when I listen to classical and jazz, I typically listen by album, so it works for me. I do like their focus on introducing new albums and how I can find new music by classical genre by example.

FYI: Roon does not currently support integration with Presto Music for streaming. The app integrates with services like Tidal and Qobuz but does not list Presto Music as an available option for streaming setup. Presto Music is compatible with platforms like BluOS and Eversolo for Hi-Res streaming.

I am a fan of the streaming service. I’ve used it for over a year. The Bluesound integration is one of the only reasons I still use a Node as my streamer.

I like their music organization, their music notes, and I find it really easy to discover music that I’ve been unfamiliar with. 

I also use Qubuz, but Presto is probably my most often used streaming service.

Now if they ever integrated into a higher end streaming platform, that would be very interesting.

I like Presto Music, bought cd’s and vinyls. It uses Royal Postal Service for shipping so shipping rates are excellent. And customer services is top notch. 
l live in a part of the world where I can’t get Qobuz legally. I will definitely subscribe to Presto Music’s streaming plan if and when I get a streaming deck. Thanks for the information!
