Channel D Lino C vs. Sutherland Little Loco
@lewn There is a self charging mechanism in the Lino C 2.2. The unit kicks into charging mode after ten minutes of not receiving an audio signal. A fully charged battery takes several hours and should be good for 20 hours of listening, so really n...
Channel D Lino C vs. Sutherland Little Loco
@500homeruns Battery life is  '3 - 5 years ( or more ) ' according to Channel D web- site and manual. My Lino C 2.2 was bought in 2020-21 and the battery is still fine with 5-6 hours of continous use. I was told to keep it away from direct sun lig...

Anyone Try a Mutech Hayabusa MC Cartridge with a Channel D Lino C Phono Stage
@eaneverson I have a Lino C 2.2, but not the Hayabusa. My present MC cartridge is Audio Tekne MC 6310, 2 ohms and 0.1 mv output. The gain is set @ +12db, the highest setting, due to the low output. For other MC’s with 2 - 6 ohms and output @ 0.3-0...

Audio Technica AT ML-180 Cartridge Advice
This is an old post, but I thought I’d post my MM experience here. In the past three months I bought two MM cartridges, after reading among things the very long MM post here  on Audiogon. I first received an Nagaoka MP-500. It was a revelation. It...
what is your configuration for the LFT-8c/LFT-VIIIc?
There is a 0.6ms delay between woofer and midrange that should be factory set. My speakers wasn’t set, so be sure to do so.    There is a few threads on Audiokarma that is on the 8C’s with quite a lot of good  information.
what is your configuration for the LFT-8c/LFT-VIIIc?
Phono + CDP > Preamp > Sub woofer >  Mono amps >  LFT midrange + tweeter panels
As he promised, Guttenberg reviews the Eminent Technology LFT-8c.
@ricevs Could you elaborate on upgrading parts for the lft-8? You must have posted details elsewhere, I just felt at the time that it was beyond my ability to DIY. But I may indeed look into swapping upgraded parts. Thanks!

Oh, and @bdp24 turned me on to the ET’s several years ago. He had championed the speakers for many years. And I have followed him for a while now, so to have someone insinuate that there is a financial arrangement between him and Bruce is quite la...
As he promised, Guttenberg reviews the Eminent Technology LFT-8c.
I , too, have re-read the review and there are some observations by the reviewer that would merit further comment. I have a room that is as deep as the reviewer at 30 ft, however, considerably narrower at 10 ft wide. The speakers are 7 1/2 ft from...

There is another positive review of the LFT-8c’s by Jules Coleman on the March issue of Enjoy the Music.com. Coleman’ picked up the review speakers directly from Guttenberg’s loft!  it’s a long review primarily on his listening impressions and les...
question for Eminent Technology lft-8c and panel speaker owners
ET LFT-8b owner here for four years and I upgraded to 8c last November. Planar  dipoles need room to breathe. I have them 7 ft away from front wall. If you haven't already, move the Maggies out into the room. If the 'detail lost ' still persists, ...
Steve Guttenberg finally reviews the Eminent Technology LFT-8b loudspeaker.
@harpo75 I concur that placement is super important with the 8b's. I never got to your level of perfection in terms of placement. I had them out 76 in. from front wall with quite a lot of toe in. And I was never quite satisfied with the soundstage...
