Old thread, I know, but bought some level 5.3 XLR interconnects from Paul Speltz (nice guy) and recommended by Don Sachs (I own the Raven preamp that he designed, sold by Spatial Labs audio). First thing I noticed was the dynamics, then the clarity and extension, and finally a well balanced sound. These were just what I was looking for. Used between DAC and preamp, preamp and amp. Probably end game wires for me. Not super expensive either.
