Another one that recently passed is Vic Flick, who was the guitarist for Ian Fleming's James Bond theme. I will never forget Dr. No, first saw it as a teen who rode my bike 5 miles to the nearest theater for a Saturday matinee.

Reminds of the Cream co-lyricist who was there for “White Room”, “I Feel Free”, and “Sunshine of your Love”, poet Pete Brown who passed last year. 

RIP.  Slowly but surely all of the artists of the bands I grew up with are passing on.  Fortunately their music lives on.  Long live rock be it dead or alive!
