I own some Beyerdynamic headphones, they are very good. I hope this is a good for Beyerdynamic. The unique characteristic of their headphones is warm natural presentation.

While a generalization, I worked for company that was acquired by a Chinese company... and let me put this diplomatically... their style of management was very different than the American or Japanese management style... which is even more different than the European.

I have an also personally been in charge of integrating companies that the company I worked for purchased. The most critical success factor is similarity of culture. Hmmm, I’m not painting a good picture here... better buy now.

Interesting. The shuffling and re-shuffling of audio companies. Even a well respected brand like Audio Research has not avoided this trend.

Fortunately Audio Research landed on its feet in a much better place. Yes, it has happened to a lot of high end audio companies. They are not enormously profitable, or large companies, so are easily buffeted by economics and management. Like small sailboats... not a lot of momentum and easily flounders in coming about or flattened in a jibe.

Very sorry to hear this. I’ve owned their headphones and IEMs which I thought were pretty good. Hopefully that will remain, but once these companies sell change is inevitable.

WOW people hear would freak out if you only had one company making everything in Audio....but it's true China is the place where everything will be make ....hmmmmm.Bring back America made audio equipment...Like Fisher,Acoustic Research  Dynaco, HH Scott,Harman Kardon ,Jensen  Altec Lansing you know what I'm talking about.

@limomangus The Chinese are just better at Capitalism than we are. What American company can pay their workers $8.00 an hour? Anyway, I still have my HH Scott FM tube tuner. It's cool but I couldn't think of one person that I know that would want to buy it from me.
