amp advice

I want to know your thoughts for a solid state 300-400 watts(8 0hms) , used, $3000- 4000 amp??which brands, amplifiers are good??

While it's rated at 225 watts per channel, it tests out at close to 300 watts. I've been using one for nearly a year now and it's driving my 8 ohm Spendor 1/2e speakers very nicely.
