My friend and I are making a spreadsheet full of albums from artists we feel we should know better or are interested in hearing more from and wonder if you have any suggestions for artists we should add to our list! Feel free to leave comments directly on the sheet and/or in this commet section!

Why not use a better tool than a spreadsheet? On Discogs you can build a wantlist, that will take you to main releases or specific versions is you want to. Each entry will have current market pricing and links to sale items (both vinyl and digital). You can share publicly or privately as you desire. If you're asking for recommendations from everyone without any specifics on genres. etc. aren't you likely to get a result so wide ranging and unfiltered that it will be cumbersome or worse to use? Hell, there are existing threads on: Best albums and new artists 20xx Best genre x albums of the year etc, etc. But, you asked, so I'll play...check out Jerome Sabbaugh, Go Fever, Liz Stringer, Black Pumas, Nathan Davis, Everything But The Girl, The Stranglers, Big Star, The Autumn Defense, Carmen Gomez, Serge Chaloff and Nels Cline.
