Accuphase Amp Burn In

Just got my new Accuphase P-4600 Amp. My first Accuphase component. Can any Accuphase owners tell me how long of a burn in is required?  Out of the box it sounds fantastic. Any burn in improvement will be a bonus.

I purchased a E-4000 about 4 months ago.
I did not like it out of the box.
I accelerate the burn in process 24hrs over 7 days.
I found  this to really improve the sound (at least for me)

I use it everyday now and love it. The accuracy is amazing.

Well if it is going to get even better after a couple hundred hours that’s fantastic as it sounds great right now on day 2.

My friend spoke with a engineer working in Japan and 150 hours starts the settling in process and gets better to 300 hours

I have an Accuphase as well as 3 other amps. I must say with the exception of my Pass, I have never experienced much change in so called burn in time. My Accuphase also sounded great out of the box, but can’t say the sound has changed. Enjoy your Accuphase, it’s pretty to look at while you are enjoying the sound.

Yes, 200-300 hours. Enjoy your Accuphase P-4600 Amp.

Happy Listening!

you are supposed to burn it in outside of your setup, at a remote location, by a third party. Let me send you my address... 😂

burn-in improvement monitoring requires pretty much spinning same tune all over and over again within time and noting what changes.

if it sounds great out of box, enjoy the music.
