A very eclectic KTEL offering.

There are those of a minimum age who remember those corny KTEL compilation commercials on TV.

I don't remember this one.

In the group pic, Eric and Robert appear to just want to get the hell out of there. Looks like MACA and Yes passed on the photo op.

Led Zeppelin once released a song on K-Tel: the result was one of the great all-star photos | Louder (loudersound.com)

The SQ of that LP must be awful.

I wonder if any of the songs got the mid cut on the 8 track?

I was in a snack-shop across the street from a very conservative, religious college in Chicago. I played Zepplin's "Candy Store Rock" on the juke box. Things got very quiet and I think the windows started to get a little misty. CSR is on the K-Tel recording. Don't remember if it's on any Zep album (Presence?).

"played Zepplin's "Candy Store Rock" on the juke box"

The only Zeppelin song I ever saw was Stairway.

CSR is indeed, on Presence. I

We had better juke boxes in Chicago (don't remember what was on the flip-side).

Remember the SNL sketch? Every record ever made, delivered by an 18 wheeler!
