@arafiq I use them with Quicksilver amps. My friend uses his with Rogue tube amps. You should grab them at that price. I have never seen a used pair for less than $1500. I use mine with these stands. BTW, I have owned many monitors and I always go...

It is not normal for a tube preamp to do that. It sounds like you have a bad tube!

I own QS amps for the past ten years. They are built like tanks and I never had any problem with them. Point to point wired and made in USA. BTW, what preamp are you using?

I posted information on Fisher in your other post. That speaker is also from ’67. I doubt it is worth getting it fixed!

Just about any vintage receiver comes with a phono preamp included. BTW, a receiver is an amp, preamp and tuner on one chassis. If you don’t need a tuner then you should look at a vintage integrated amp!
