A new way of adjusting anti skate!
There are LOTS of remedies out there for trying to measure skate. For AS, this looks credible. Certainly a way to check calibration of your arm’s AS mechanism. For THAT alone it’s worth checking! Thanks!!

Is 1990's equipment vintage?
Vintage isn’t JUST the number of years it’s been around. It’s that, plus the build/design philosophy that puts the gear in a special catagory.Pretty hard to put any gear chock full of off-the-shelf integrated circuits into its “own” catagory. Hard...

Question regarding subwoofers
I have a single 8” dual vc Velodyne DLS (Servo) powered sub. DSP crossover. Remote control. -3 dB at 32 Hz. I have it crossed over at 100 Hz. Bass always sounds like it’s coming from wherever the imaging says it should be, whether center, back, le...

Cartridge recommendation please...
This is a false statement:A Grado MI (moving-iron) is an easy recommendation! The advantage over MM-types is immunity from cable and input stage capacitance. MI is identical to MM carts in every respect. Only difference is that MI uses a VIRTUAL M...

Speakers hung from ceiling on aircraft cable.
Back in 1985-1987, I suspended my small Polk Monitor 4As. I used a finished wood base, with 3 brass eyescrews, just bigger than the speaker base. I used black nylon braid fishing line to a brass ring; brass chain to a ceiling hook into the ceiling...
