Need advice with clicking noise from my tube amp
Gents, I got the amp back from the tech and have been playing it all day.  The clicking noise is gone, but I'll see if it returns tonight.  I appreciate all the suggestions and will keep my fingers crossed.
Need advice with clicking noise from my tube amp
It started a couple of weeks ago and I noticed it several nights in a row.  If it is a hamster (hard to imagine one in my area) operating nearby, is there anything I can do, system-wise, to alleviate the issue?  Perhaps I should stroll around the ...
Looking for advise with selecting next integrated amp
Definitely +1 on the Kinki recommendation. Check out the reviews; they are uniformly very positive.
"Audiophile" Power Cables: The Greatest Audio Conspiracy Theory of All Time?
Wayman, Absolute brilliant writing, among the best I have seen on this forum or anywhere else.  You are a deep thinker with a marvelous sense of humor.  You made my day.
2023 Florida Audio Expo Show Report
Did anyone at the Show hear any modestly priced speakers that impressed them greatly, say with a soft upper price range of $10K?  Reviews of these ghastly pricey speakers is equally as interesting to me as reviews of new biz jets: I read both such...
Ordered a Willsenton R300
Musiclover, I might be well off base, but before I went all digital, I connected my phono preamp to my Don Sachs preamp by way of one of the inputs on the Sachs preamp.  That is assuming you are using the R300 as an integrated amp.  TT > phono...
Ordered a Willsenton R300
I join Charles is affirming your enjoyment of the tube amp.  I listen to mine everyday and those 300b produce a sound more to my liking than any KT88 or high end SS amps I own.  Of course you need to pair them with the right speakers.  It is a mod...
Those singers you enjoy,....that don't really have a great voice?
The top of my list is Billie Holiday.  Her singing makes me want to slit my wrists. Michael McDonald too, he had no business with a microphone.
Ordered a Willsenton R300
A follow-up to my original post.  I have been playing my new CCS Audio 1TD-X speakers (87 db sensitive with an 8 ohm nominal impedance) and the Willsenton drives them nicely at normal listening levels, but runs out of gas at higher SPL's.  No SPL ...
What am I missing?
Ditto Curtdr.  My seasoned audio friend parted with an integrated amp with an internal DAC to get a pure integrated amp so he needed a DAC.  I suggested the well-reviewed Topping D90SE just for the heck of it, but he bought it and is enthralled wi...
System that sounds so real it is easy to mistaken it is not live
I recently attended a Connie Han Trio concert in an intimate room and the drums were so over-miked that it was hard to hear the other players.  No idea why the drums were even amplified.  I need a reason to get out of the house these days and enjo...
Ordered a Willsenton R300
I am using the amp as a power amp at the moment, connected to my tube preamp. I assume the two 300b and 2 5U4G tubes are in play when it functions as a pure power amp and thus might benefit from tube rolling, but how about the 2 6SN7 and one 6SL7 ...

fuzztone, I was uncertain where best to post this.  My apologies.
Do I need a streamer?
Gents, Whew, a bit of light is shining on the issue so thanks very much for all your comments.  My pal with a similarly good system as mine used to stream from his iMac and went to a streaming/music server (NAD I think) and I noticed zero differe...
Do I need a streamer?
As much as I read about music servers and streamers, I am still bewildered how they fit in my system which includes: Don Sachs preamp & KT88 amp; Willsenton 300b; Wells Audio Innamora,VTV EVO1200  Spatial Audio M4 Triode Masters So the stre...
