Audioquest Storm Series power cables
@facten thanks for your fb on my credibility, sorry for not impressing you much (yet)! Currently I am designing analog circuits, and I am using very expensive cable, in some sensitive measurements, specific signal test cables cost me $5000 a pair!...

@facten please provide “blind test” results to backup your statements. clarification of word “quality” in your statement "quality aftermarket power cord” will be welcome too!
Audioquest Storm Series power cables
@ozzy "people with no actual experience with better power cords" Dear ozzy, please elaborate on “better” in your statement, it is not clear what do you mean. If would be good to know what cable you compared to, and what exact issue was fixed. If ...
Marantz TT15/ Clearaudio Satisfy for MC carts?
@big_greg I am using SL1200MK2/4/6 TTables for a long time, love them much for reliability and performance, here is my OP: 1): you will get nice SQ by adding Audio Technica MM cartridge, I personally found  the best sounding one is Audio Techin...
Audioquest Storm Series power cables
@ursm  1): signal path cables - yes, better EM shielding, better match to audio analog/digital path impedance, better connectors always helping me to reduce noise, and to flatten freq response.  2): power cables - nope, clean, not oxidized over ...
New Hemingway Audio Power Cables WORLD's BEST ???
@facten I am design engineer, and my job is to actually measure components including all cables etc to make sure performance spec is satisfied. As I see typical power cable resistance is about 3 mOhms, expensive one is 2 mOhms, including wall outl...
New Hemingway Audio Power Cables WORLD's BEST ???
$$ power cables have no value, other than nice look / flexibility / Dr feel-good. All high end equipment I am aware of, supplied with the same pwr cables as used in the performance tests. I would love to hear about “blind test” results between $10...
Accuphase Amplifiers - members opinions on their class A- A75 amp and the a/b P-7300 amp
Yes! P4500 generates less heat, and it has higher peak power, A48 is “cleaner” at below 5W power range, beyond that difference is not audible.

Class A: Accuphase vs Pass Labs house sound?
Accuphase A-48: drives any speakers with confidence, lowest background noise ever, airy.
Simaudio versus Accuphase?
Having "Accuphase a-70 with c2420” makes you well prepared for next 10+ years!  Accuphase separates/integrated units I am aware of are designed to switch internally btw 100/120/220/240V AC easily.
Inexpensive Good Vintage Turntables?
try to find Technics SL1200MK4 in good condition, in US you will be needed to replace power transformer from 100V AC to 115V AC, plenty available for SL1200MK2/5. Key features: DD, 33 1/3, 45, 78 rpm, titanium arm which dampens resonances well, R...
Class A: Accuphase vs Pass Labs house sound?
@runwell trying to understand your points: "build quality, accuphase is amongst the top one”; "the sound, accuphase is not the top one” Accuphase has many SKUs, “cheaper” ones are not top performer comparing to other brands reference designs. Won...
Class A: Accuphase vs Pass Labs house sound?
Accuphase A-48 amp sounds (looks) like a Mercedes S-class  car, rides.. PASS-L designs tuned to get racing results better, overheating motor, etc..

@allhifi +1 on Gustard I have two Gustard DACs, A22/A20H, both are well designed / built, class A balanced - unbalanced (RCA) output stages suitable for 5k+ price class, very low noise power supply block' based on two toroidal-low EM leak transfo...
