Young audiophile metal head looking to level up speaker choice Killingforcompany, I'd suggest you find a JBL dealer, bring your music, and try them for yourself, my guess is that they would have several models available and there are several hundred JBL dealers out there
Young audiophile metal head looking to level up speaker choice That's true, that's another $300......though I usually assume the stands are not included for any speaker
Another post about a streamer upgrade Look for a used Aurender N200 (can be found for about $4,500 or so) or a used Innuous Zen MKIII (around $2,300) or a Zenith MKIII (around $4,500)......those would be nice upgrades IMO

Help choosing a DAC OP, The Pontus II is a very musical, involving, and just plain fun DAC that makes you want to listen to music. It is NOT the end game in detail, but it is so enjoyable to listen to. I will say that adding a Denarips Iris DDC before the Pontus II...
Why "bookshelf" sspeakers? OP, for many reasons stated above: easier to move around, easier to store when not in use, less expensive, easier to place as they are usually "two way" speakers, seem to pair well with subwoofers. I'd also add they are better at imaging and soun... |
