B&W in best buy Getting good audio equipment out where the public can see and hear them is all to the good. Don't know what lines are there but anything that enlightens people as to what is possible is worth promoting.
Wanted to share with GON members my new "JOB" Happy is he whose avocation can become their vocation.Congratulation!Michael
Need a SACD/Redbook player I don't listen to a lot of CD's since getting more heavily into vinyl a few years ago, but do have an SACD collection that gets a fair amount of use. About 10 years ago I bought a Marantz SA-14, it has problems with a few SACD's but I have the Son...
If you could bring back one great artist that has Saw Janis a few times, very hit and miss. When she was on she was memorable and dazzling when she wasn't it wasn't worth the time.Would like to bring Mozart into this. Another artist who was beginning to break into new venues or avenue of creation...
help with music? Since you like Miles David, try out one of his piano players, Bill Evans.
Replacement speaker Zmanastronomy, Love may not be the right word. There is much that they do that I like but after 6-7 years something with perhaps a bit more refined treble would be nice. The bass and midrange are good but could be better, then again, what could not?

Modern Linestages First, thank you Swampwalker for the kind remarks. An example of what the OP may have intended is the Conrad-Johnson Classic Preamp. No frills, no remote, just a good product for two channel. Being sold at a reasonable(according to audiophile stand...
If you could bring back one great artist that has Would like to add both Vince Guaraldi and Wes Montgomery. Both left way to early.
If you could bring back one great artist that has Buddy Holly has been mentioned more than once and rightly so. Elizabeth took Mozart so for another one that left to early Frederick Chopin
Need advice on CJ preamps I agree with Chuck but the Premier 16LS II will set you back another $1,000 or so. It is a great pre-amp I have one and really enjoy it. The Premier 10 is also a good choice as is the PV-11 which can be had for under a $1,000. I had one of those t...
Modern Linestages Mikelavigne stated it very well, I don't care how the piece looks I care about what the piece does. If it makes music then YEA everything else is an afterthought. |
