I've got 450 albums dating from the late 60's to current.  About 50 are 180 gr quality some of those shine and some don't.
Looking for a turntable around $1k...
I will be picking up my Planar 3 with 4 mm of spacers for my OC-9 ML this week.  Been researching  new TT's for months, IMO it's the best combination of table and arm in that price range but if you like switching carts on a regular basis it's not ...
What do you have on order RIGHT NOW.

The Absolute Sound vs Pleasing Sound
I'm reading 4 pages of analysis paralysis while way in the background, from another room, at fairly low volume my Walsh 4's are filling the air with Leonard Cohen's 'Suzanne'.  Hell, that's pleasing, it's emotionally involving.  Learn to enjoy the...

Speakers to hang on to for LIFE
Bought my Walsh 4's in 1986 they were a store demo (1984 build).  Sold my Infinity Monitor Jr.'s  which I had purchased in 1977.  Currently scratching my head as to whether I should just re-foam them one more time or trade the cans in for a Walsh ...
Ohm Walsh 4 conundrum.
but did take Evan up on a re-foaming of my original XOs ..... which are still sounding very nice. Thanks Musicbox78.  You've brought out some interesting info that I was not aware of i.e. the weight of the new drivers, that said, lighter weigh...
Ohm Walsh 4 conundrum.
Mapman:  You said 'big sound difference between gen 1 model and gen 4'.  What sound difference do you recall between the different versions you had.  As I mentioned in my post my total upgrade cost would be $2700 CDN and a refoam $400 CDN.  I've s...
