Former Tekton owners: What have you moved on to?
@clarinetmonster2 Those all sound like very solid auditioning choices, and I'll be very curious to hear which one comes out on top after your visit to Atlanta.
where are all the posts/reviews about Prana, Philharmonic and others?
@seanheis1 Have you looked at the cabinets manufactured by Daedalus and Salk?  Dayton cabinets--yeah right?  The Philharmonic 3 cabinet.  Off the shelf--clearly!Vaughn, and I'm going to add Chapman Audio.  Plenty others.I'm trying to get at a bigg...
ELAC - Adante... what’s the verdict?
Seems to me the moral of this story is that the Adantes need a long, and may need a very long, break-in period in order to sound their best.  This in turn would account for the consideration variations in impressions derived from recent auditions,...
Anyone bought direct from ps audio and returned it?
Did just that with a P5.  No issues at all with getting refund.
DIY - Two kits using similar tweeter to Tekton
What do Golden Ear, B&W, and Dynaudio have in common?  I can't think of very much, other than they all manufacture speakers.
Are We Different?
Interesting.  I know that a certain passage in the last movement of Sibelius's 5th can give me a distinct frisson, but it's not automatic.  Likewise the Adagietto from Mahler's 5th.  Got to be in the right mood, got to be listening to the music an...

Hegel Mohican & Bryston BCD3
@jafant We have a kind of parallel thread going, but in answer it's TEAC.
New or Old CD Player?
@jafant  Well, the BCD-1 came out in 2008, and Bryston chose a Philips L1210 CD drive, a reasonable choice at the time I think.  They still to this day support all other parts of the '1, but the supply of drives has dried up--about a year ago.  @t...
A Budget Amp Comparison
Absolute Sound loves the Odyssey's, and there's plenty of info. over on Audio Circle.
Former Tekton owners: What have you moved on to?
Difficult, as is demonstrated by all the "recommend a speaker" threads. With high-tech tweeters: used Spendor D7?  Whatever's affordable in the KEF lineup?  Spatial Audio M3?  And yes, something from the Proac DxxR line.
most advanced speaker in a rectangular wooden box?
+1 @helomech.  Yes, so mainly Brits: ATC, Harbeth, Spendor, Tannoy, and let's not forget PMC and Proac.  Top of all those lines are some great speakers.  Apparently more than one way to skin a rabbit.
Corelli - really????
It just plugs into the unused receptacle of the duplex, or another outlet on the same circuit, or, I think, into an unused socket on your power conditioner/distribution box.  Supposedly mild effect throughout the whole house?!?
Former Tekton owners: What have you moved on to?
@clarinetmonster2 For the record, could you state: budget, willingness to go new and/or used, and chief qualities/priorities for the speakers?
