Considering Harbeth C 7ES-3
How hot do you like your porridge?I heard the SHL5+ in a room with solid brick walls and driven by high-end Naim equipment, and they were brighter than I had expected.  I commented to the salesperson and he replied (don't know if truthfully or jus...

If you try the Benchmark, you could consider a pair for either horizontal or vertical biamping.  Just don't bridge them... (see the parallel thread on bridged stereo amps into lower impedances...)
Speakers for Luxman NeoClassico II System
One of the Audio Note models would work well and give you more flexibility with positioning than most.
Am I the only one who doesn’t love Harbeth P3esr?
Something is strangely wrong if the P3 sounds brighter than the LS50.
SUT's -Looking for one with some meat on the bones
@mckinneymike I agree 100% with your evaluation and can confirm from my own listening experience.  I compared the D7s directly against Classic 100s, same room, same system, same (long) afternoon, same music.  For me, the Classic 100s were signifi...

Black, blue, orange... I'm feeling thoroughly bruised.
Paradigm 3f, KEF reference 3, Monitor Audio PL300II
@verdantaudio Please elaborate on the ways in which they are "radically different".  As you're a designer, I'm interested in your "take" on this issue.
Harbeth Super HL5+...thoughts
I heard the 40.2's at CAF 2018 in a regular sized hotel room, and they didn't sound bloated, at least on the musical fare that they played (I went back a couple of times).  Vu (of Deja Vu) stated they need at least a couple of feet from side walls...
Was the Snell Secret a Wide Baffle?
Anyone here ever hear the Trenner and Friedl Isis?

Elgar #2, which I definitely prefer to #1.  Sinopoli recording sounds good; Larghetto movement seems at moments to be channeling some Mahler (is it Elgar or is it Sinopoli?).
