Bluesound Node 2021 DAC - I sold my Denafrips Ares II
The combination of the Node version ___ and a Denafrips DAC is problematic. Alvin [Denafrips] has stated the Aries II and the Node didn’t play well together, he later broadened the list to include their DAC’c and the Node. So a different brand ...
Denefrips Pontus "burn in" period?
it is also known that the pontus does not play particularly well with b-s node digital output Alvin actually stated it was the Aries II that has a compatibility issue  with the Node coax input.  Owning a R2R DAC my beliefs are they are more ...
Bluesound Node 2021 - adding Sub
Prior to making any decisions/purchases there is a Bluesound forum where  your particular query can be addressed using both sub out and bypassing the Node internal Dac at the same time. Found this https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/commun...
Most effective way to add room correction?
The most effective way to add room correction is amazingly enough, start with treating the room then move forward with {DSP} digital signal processing. This is the order the professionals use. This due to DSP inherently having limitations that...

Bluesound Node (2021) PS upgrade to Teddy Pardo; is it worth it?

Finally Learned: Subs serve much larger role than adding more low bass
@atmasphere  I wish more people would realize ^ especially those {names withheld} that comment on room treatments being of little or secondary attention. Its all about the order you approach corrective measures the  room dictates what you hear...
If you were looking for a direct drive turntable ...
@lewm  Pioneer did make a very high quality line of DD turntables back in the day, topped by the nonpareil Exclusive P3,   There's been one for sale on CAM located in Canada less the 30 plus % exchange rate. But not on my buying list.
Fidelity Research FR7F history/changes
But this topic is ABOUT FR-7 cartridge.Of which cart suspension is as pertinent as your NOS stock.
Fidelity Research FR7F history/changes
Nowhere did I mention the FR-7 cart as having suspension problems, but as often as you mention all your NOS cartridges available its prudent to notethe relevant pitfalls.
