My Gray Experience
Doing your due diligence before making any substantial purchase is just a good use of your time. Too many shysters around these days. Back in the good old days they were just easier to spot because they drove white vans ;)
Trojan Warning?
I'm using Mac, so no Malwarebytes, no antivirus and no cryptic warnings.
Has anyone tried these SnugPlugs?
Interesting idea, but my guess is that for most "loose" outlets, the Snug Plug would make it difficult to fit an audiophile plug once they were inserted into the outlet. That being said, I wish I would have thought of it.
Streamer, no DAC please?

The best opening act you've ever seen & heard?

Multiple subwoofers work wonders
Adding a distributed bass array was the single biggest improvement to my system. And, looking at your system page, that is a very impressive and flat frequency response you have achieved. Totally jealous.
LoFi
Not surprised. Low expectations means you can't be disappointed. It's like when a favourite song comes on your car radio. All you do is enjoy the moment.
2025 Rock-N-Roll Hall Of Fame Nominees
Not sure what exactly the criteria are for induction, but some of the inductees leave me scratching my head, as do some of the musicians that are ignored. Which is why I couldn't care less.
OK Audiogon, help me out please
"The problem with my current speakers are they seem very bright in the mids and harsh in the upper." So, why would you shortlist another Monitor Audio speaker if you aren't thrilled with the sound you get from the one you have now? It's not like...
