@mijostyn no issue w accurate. I live w accurate and flat to 20 hz every day I am in Seattle. with a push pull 12” aluminum honeycomb driver in a carbon fiber wrapped cabinet within a cabinet. 11 bands of analog EQ on both channels. YMMV, and unhe...

uphill both ways…. Monty Python Ayre makes some nice Myrtlewood blocks, beeswax candles in a pinch, dixi cups, etc.

@bondmanp ya man ;-) Hipass puts the main amp in what I call the vandy loafing zone…magic midrange happens, and as you know the high level drive preserves the transfer function of the main amp. I love the new Sub 3 ;-) not required if you are care...

Vandersteens-- Removing M5-HPs for a Digital Xover?
To the OP - just nail the crossover point specified in the Quattro manual. No matter what filter you pick ( first order, Butterworth, etc ) the -3db point need be accurate. Let us know what you think, pls do post those findings on the Vandy owners...

Phil - the smaller cap in film sounds better than the single larger cap alone. Like all things audio, some hear it, some don't… The rule of thumb is 10% of the larger cap, use same voltage rating !  My 240 is singing for her supper ;-)  https:/...
