What are the more subtle sounding tube preamps?
The Aesthetix Calypso is a very good, not overly lush tube preamp.
2017 amps - $10K to $15K who is on your short list?
I agree,  save the long posts and insults, bo1972, tell us where we can hear Tru-Fi and decide for ourselves.
2017 ‘Keeper’ speakers under - $25K
Martin Logan 13A or 15A.  Wonderful speakers and woofers can be adjusted to your room using Anthem Room Correction.

Thanks.  Looks interesting but not that many people know French in the States.  Do you plan an English version?
Who listens primarily to Redbook CD?
I listen mostly to CDs. Another great aspect of the cd is the massive amount of music that was out of print or extremely rare on vinyl (or 78) that was made available inexpensively, in great sound, on cds.One of my listening interests is American ...
The new re-mix of Sgt. Pepper's
Reviews on Amazon are numerous and very positive. 10 to 1 positive.  On the Steve Hoffman Forums a poll has 245 people preferring the 2017 stereo remix to 179 preferring the 1967 stereo mix.  There has been some additional compression done in the ...
Audiophiles are not alone

Pass X 250.8 or Pass 30.8 question?
I have some relevant experience. I own a pair of Summit Xs that I was driving with a Pass XA 30.8 and they sounded great, but due to the speaker’s specs I wanted to see what they would sound like with a muscle amp. So I bought a D’Agostino Classic...
