Comparing Two Pairs of Mono's I had the Karthago and later Kismet monos. I bought the monos after I heard KEF driving their Muons at CAF with them. They are good sounding amps for the price and come with a 20 year warranty. Klaus’s systems generally sound excellent at audio sh...
Best sub for music, Interesting feedback reading over this and general agreement which does not often happen here.So 2+ subs are preferred for music and essentially any high quality brand will work well.I confirm this by mixing 2 Scansonic driver based subs with a Ma...
Nordost users....time to upgrade! Some products are made for marketing to catch attention. Clearly they got yours. Also there are more people than you think globally that are financially at a point where money is no longer thought of as a limited resource. Once you hit $20M whats 2...
Using step up / down transformers? I am using ACUPWR step up transformers to run 230v subs /CD/DAC. Heavy duty build quality. Sounds identical to native 230v when the components were used in Europe.

Vinyl...should I stay, or should I go? What people said. Its not set up correctly. Get some help and then make a decision when you heard what the system can do.
What happened here? The Viborg connectors are Rhodium over copper. (Cerious Matrix). It probably is the copper, strange how it was able to pulverize like that from underneath the Rhodium coating.
Table for your Turntable? Show ‘em offf! Mine is a professional measurement table of 200lb granite with rubber feet sitting on a tripod metal leg construction that allows perfect balancing. 250lb total. I can jump up and down in front of it with a record playing and there is no audible ...
Classical music listening... what is a better source High Rez or Vinyl? Bottom line the recording quality of the CD or vinyl is the driver if both analog and digital systems are of high quality. My Esoteric CD player can easily beat mediocre vinyl recordings. If everything is perfect vinyl will edge out CD/SACD. I hav...
Synergistic Research Galileo SX Power cord. (Opinions on sound quality appreciated). Misunderstanding, question is not how you card afford it. Price is relative in this hobby, it's a personal decision how much someone can and wants to spend on an item. Question is how is the cable besting what has come before? Soundstage, timber, ...
Synergistic Research Galileo SX Power cord. (Opinions on sound quality appreciated). I am curious, this is a $6000 power cord. Ozzy you have tried many cords before and build your own. What does this cord provide extra to justify the cost over a up to $2k cord?
Synergistic Research FEQ or Atmosphere Excellent feedback thank you |
