Peachtree GaN 1 Beta
Upgraded the output wire and eliminated the extra output coils (not needed).  For those ASR types.....none of these mods are measureable.....the amp will measure the same before and after the mods. @atmasphere do you care to comment? I thin...
Is Imaging Worth Chasing?
@mijostyn systems that image are very common. Almost any near field system with good quality monitors will image very good if setup right, and with most of the market moving towards active monitors, left/right matching is near perfect. If near fie...

There is another page on the audiocheck site @rodman99999 that shows you left / right using level, time, and time, level and frequency response.  @paul6001 you asked "how it works", this is how:  https://www.audiocheck.net/audiotests_stereophonics...
The new Borresen M1's...a new direction?
dump great gear at far lower prices.   Lower price yes, but is it a good price?  It is like those discount stores that say 50% off MSRP, except the MSRP is inflated and not a single unit was ever sold at that price.

Anyway, all expensive and cheap speakers’ sounds in the world are ear hurting veiled and inducing Tinnitus. Only my Antero speakers are a safe from Tinnitus. I work in professional market speakers. I would never ever make such a false claim, es...

@thespeakerdude , Sorry, you are mistaken. Our hearing sense uses volume and phase relationships to locate sounds. Just twist your balance control and see what happens to a singer imaged to the center. If at any frequency one speaker is louder th...

@thespeakerdude Actually it is physiology not biology. Either way, I'm not disputing your chart.     physiology the branch of biology that deals with the normal functions of living organisms and their parts. ...

I think it's got to be panels, they have better detail and soundstage than cones at low volume.  May be because the moving membranes are lighter than cones, being much thinner and not requiring to be rigid. There is no evidence of this I am awa...
Is Imaging Worth Chasing?
@mijostyn , I cannot agree that simply using a microphone/DSP to make your speakers perfect match as you described will give you perfect imaging and/or that it can compensate for acoustic treatments and asymmetry. Measuring in-room frequency res...

@bobdavid , you have the Lokius so you are set up for playing with equalization for better low volume listening no matter the speakers.
Low level listening
This is biology, not nonsense. Our hearing sensitivity at different frequencies changes with volume. It is why music sounds different with changes with volume. A speaker with exaggerated bass or recessed mids may sound better at lower volume than ...

+1 @elliottbnewcombjr, you can fight biology, but it is probably better to work with it. Anything else is going to be a band-aid.
Opinion: Modern country is the worst musical genre of all time
For me personally, 5 may be tough, but: 60's manufactured music Angry gangsta rap. If there is any musical value, I can't get past the anger / violence Free jazz and/or highly improvised. I appreciate the musical talent, but cannot connect em...

Not completely tongue in cheek:
Is Imaging Worth Chasing?
If moving your hear drastically changes the image, something is wrong. Very wrong. I assume you mean moving your head?  Wouldn't how sensitive the image is to moving your head be dependent on what information in the music is conveying the image...
