Morrow Audio re-design announcement: No more Ag coated Cu; Increased numbers of runs. I haven't tried Morrow cables but Id say he's handled himself very well in this forum along with his very generous offer of 60% off for customers trading up to the new models.Well done Morrow, wish you all the best.
Do electrolytic caps need burn in? Any update on the sound evening out, you mentioned bass with texture midrange but lacked upper frequencies' has this improved with time.I was thinking of doing this exactly with my AR Ref 3 preamp.
Hegel H360 or H590 or Constellation Inspiration Integrated 1.0 for Magico A3 Any respectable dealer well let you take a piece or pieces of equipment home to demo, if not " go to another dealer.
Any one try the new Synergistic Research BLUE UEF Duplex receptacle? I well add with the NCF the instruments have more weight, if thats the right word to use. The music seems more solid with weight, impact.
Any one try the new Synergistic Research BLUE UEF Duplex receptacle? I find the NCF-R to be better then the Black in Transparency, bass with a holographic soundstage. I hadn't really thought of musical until David Pritchard mentioned it above.Im preferring the NCF-R currently, to be honest Im running NCF IEC in al...

DIY Power Cables Instead of Used The cables well take 600 hrs to burn in but the Fi 50 NSF is closer to 700 hours, be patient and enjoy the burn in.
Accuphase DAC-50: Glaring sibilance Let it burn in for 400 - 500 hrs then see how it sounds. Relax, enjoy the burn in.
If cost was no factor, what system would you build as your main audio system? There is a reason why megabuck systems have megabuck cabling. You never see the budget cables on these systems. How many people here who actually criticize the megabuck cables have actually HEARD them in a megabuck system. I'm willing to bet NONE.
DIY Power Cables Instead of Used The Furutech FP S55N is a limited addition and is mostly sold out in the US and the DSP4 ( Not FPN4 , I was wrong) is like I said expensive. The TC series of cables would be good BUT whatever you do get the FI 50 NSF connectors they are more impor... |
