New Audio Technica
My browser(chrome) has a translate function. The ART20 isn't an air core, as ART1000. At minimum it should perform at ART9 level, which is positive. Basic specs listed look about the same, but translated include titanium base. Picture shows styl...
Cartridge upgrade????
Be the first kid on the block Audio Technica is releasing this in a couple of weeks.  Most likely, it will be a winner since it's intended to fit between the ART9 and ART 1000. $2500 or so price point https://www-audio--technica-co-jp.translate...
Is it me, or others?
I would have great time with someone like that. To the layperson audio equipment is just foreign.

15 years should be enough to decide what's "best."
Review: Pure Fidelity Harmony Turntable
A turntable that looks like a turntable-what a concept! Do you have the arm as the model on the webpage? Interesting weight housing of the antiskate. Nice clean look. Enjoy it.

bdp24- another internet discovery for me. The watch guy in the YT was a drummer and music industry exec. Michael Blakey. It appears he is the YT high rolling lifestyle guy and an actual former musician. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3219778/bio...

"the rhythm section is so soul-less and robotic, they needn't have used real musicians." stuartk- I think you described the overall vibe of the album. Music for the sake of music- in background while doing chores in the house. Guitarists  for M...

"As talented as he is, I have to admit I have mixed feelings about his playing. I take very seriously the notion of the musician’s priorities as being in service to first the song, second the singer, third the ensemble, and lastly his instrument. ...
Does Formula 1 racing and high end audio go together for anyone else?
"I like F1 and wish they’d come back to Long Beach" nonoise-I’m a Long Beach native. 1975-first year, it was quite unorganized. For a couple of us teenaged kids in the hood, it was great because we were able to walk/watch the entire course, sit i...
Has the cost of HiFi gotten a bit too much?
If consumers didn't  buy, it wouldn't be so. You likely don't live I Southern California. It's part of "normal" for me.

Great story bdp24. Yes to Danny Gatton. I play an early 90's Antholgy 2 CD now and then. Storied player. The 50's country, R/R and fringe Tele players up to the Beck/Page era are the ones who really made the Tele otherworldly. Big respect to all...

Valentino is running some kind of grassroots bike racing program. You may have seen this one.

It has something to do with the interest of "absolute" performance which is what F1 represents. I follow F1,Moto GP and pro cycling in Europe. I enjoy Nico Rosberg's YT channel.
