Good luck with your future acquisition, barnettk.I'm a little jealous. Many quiet records are in your future. Let us know where you purchased and experience.

This and other threads point to Degritter being "flavor of the month."I guess since the AD isn't available now, a used one wouldn't be a smart buy(service)?Looks like another year of waffling for me. That, and low tech Spin Clean.Should I hold my ...

oranfoster-I know that feeling of being transported to a better place once the needle drops on something heard 40 years ago. I think it's part of the allure of table insanity-a decent setup, that is. My rig is low on the food chain...under $8K new...

EAT E-Glo Petit vs. Rogue Ares
"For use with an AT Art9."If you're going to use the XA version @.2mv,  64db gain may have you cranking the volume higher=noise and not hearing the cart's potential Otherwise, you're fine with the .5mv XI model..I used the 1st gen ART9 with 60db ....
Newbie question
Keep reading....It appears you're caught up in the "I need more watts" mindset.
New AT ART and OC9 cartridges
I'm curious as well. The newer OC9's have a thicker stylus. How that relates to SQ with the same internals(guessing) is what I'd like to know.I went from the OC9III to 1s gen ART9. Satisfying upgrade. Maxed my financial tolerance level($1K). Due fo...

The previous posters name and history says it all...Same rants in all threads. Poor guy, his world sucks!
Shootout-- Primaluna Dialog HP Integrated/Carver Crimson 275/Elekit 300B
Interesting read.Carver is one of the  brands never or rarely mentioned as having a bland/boring sound. Is it safe to say this reinforces all the PL hype of value-cost/build/performance?
