Headphone amp connection
Best connection would be via tape outs.

"I wasn't aware the Supremas had passive subs."Yep, two 8" isobarik loaded in each lower cabinet. You can very their crossover to the Royal Master monitors w a jumper, 50 or 60 hz, IIRC. I've been driving the monitors w VAC Ren 30/30 or Doshi-modi...
Maxell or TDK?
+1 Effischer and Lowrider57. If you pick a tape and then bias the deck to the tape, you could get either one to perform at it's best.

Thx, Lewinskih01. I am interested because my Ref 3A Supremas have passive subs and I have always wondered if I should drive the sub cabinets with a stereo or mono signal, downstream from an active crossover/bass management device.
32" television
And my 30" Loewe Planus does 480p and has a better picture than any LCD that's for sure. Too bad it's really only good for DVDs. It's a 16:9 form factor; not sure how much it weighs; maybe 100 lbs but it sure is bulky/clumsy. Anyone want it?

Lewinskih01- you make a good point, although many people report excellent results running them single-ended either w a conventional RCA termination (w shorting pin in the XLR jack) or w an XLR-terminated (aka pseudo-balanced) connection. Not to get...

Call Ralph at Atmasphere. He has heard his amps on most speakers out there and will give you the straight poop. One of the real good guys in this field.
no looking back
Thx, Oilman- I was looking for the Triton surfactant and industrial dispersant but they were very expensive in the only quantity I could find on-line. Like Stringreen and Bifwayne, I am not a fanatic about this, so I'll give the photo-flo/dawn mix...
Tube in Preamp or Power amp?
Bo is onto something. If you are going to keep the speakers you have now, then you would be best served by going w the amp that matches best w your speakers. Lower sensitivity and/or low or significantly varying impedance would argue for a solid s...
looking for a speaker posts tighting "wrench"?
Oh c'mon, Brf. None of US would ever work on the binding posts w the amp powered up, would we ;-)I like the AQ postmaster. Not only insulated, but there since there is no "arm" it would be harder to overtighten (at least w my wimpy grip).

+1 Jtcf and Tls49
It was 20 years ago today. . What was your system?
Correction 1993 TT was Sonographe SG-3 w MMT arm and Sumiko Blue Point special cart. The AR had been loaned to my b-in-law at that point. Advanced case of CRS, sorry.
Is a hairbrush available?
RW- I knew there was something wrong there, but was too lazy to look it up. Thx.
cd player not reading a disc? Laser dirty?
Thx, RX8man.
What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report
Mofi- You lucky bastard. That's quite a guest list. I'll keep my ears open for that. One great memory I have of my mother-in-law who died last December @ 94 was my wife and I taking her to see Willie; probably 25 or 30 years ago @ Foxwoods Casino ...
