What does it take to be a die hard Beatles fan?
@bdp24  Thanks for the background on your listening history with Clapton. I recall reading one interview in which he described his musical taste as "schmaltzy".  Maybe that explains some of the post-Layla records?  @grislybutter  Ah, OK.  I re...
What does it take to be a die hard Beatles fan?
@grislybutter  Sorry to be so dense but my aging brain is not following you. I don't see how Harrison could've been involved in the creation/design of the Encinitas Center because that was built in 1937. Do you mean the smaller SRF Encinitas temp...

@bdp24 There’s somewhat of a parallel in the life of John McLaughlin who became a dedicated student of, I believe, the vina (someone correct me if I’m mistaken). It got to the point where decided he had to drop the vina because he felt, deep dow...

@grislybutter  Not sure what you mean. Are you saying there's a garden dedicated to Harrison within the SRF grounds?
Sweet Sounding DAC
Given the number of positive forum comments regarding the mods done by @grannyring to the AudioMirrorToubador , I would not reject that DAC outright. Regrettably, I cannot advise you on any of the others you’ve listed.

@audphile1 I just remembered another: the two J. Hall/R. Carter duo recordings available as a 2 CD set titled "Telepathy" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfqLxxXLM-4
Schiit Loki Max?
@almosthome  Yes -- I can easily see the advantage of more, narrower, bands.  My system is much better balanced now than when I first initiated this thread, so it's no longer a pressing need but I will probably pick one up eventually.
