Speltz anti-cables and Vandersteens....... I tried Kimber, Audioquest, Purist, Nordost, etc., etc. None were better, most were not nearly as good as Anti-Cables. ..funny thing....Audioquest Sky/Everest was also great, but their superexpensive WFL signature was awful. | |

Most forgiving high end speaker 10k-20k? With the upper end Vandersteens, you can tailer the speaker to sound good in the room its in...can't do that with others. | |

Turntable Placement Vic....Gingko's are no good for VPI turntables. They absolutely ruin the sound. VPI's have to be solidly affixed to the center of the Earth for the best sound. I love the guys at Gingko...they make excellent dust covers and their speakers are good... | |
Can magnet placed beside cartridge damage a coil? A high energy magnet would ruin the cartridge by demagnetizing the cartridge's magnet which folows as to your description of the problem. Moving magnet cartridges need both sides equal - equally muscular magnet - to get proper balance. |
