More Dynamic Speakers Than Vienna Acoustic The problem is that by design they’re not going to rattle the windows so even adding a sub won’t fix it. I know what I’d get if I was you but I’m not and I’d probably change my mind after 6 months anyhow.
How much is "LOUD" still a reference point for some? New speakers (quality) while generally needing more power can reach serious spl’s before sounding loud so maybe you can elaborate.
How does this make sense, any sense? Any sense at all?? Stereophile recommended components, sigh. What would audiophiles do with their money without it? Oh yea buy whatever TAS is spooging all over.
Klipsch Heresy 4? I’ll say this, Klipsch speakers like a certain prez who’s name I won’t mention. No middle ground, love em or hate em.
Bass at your ears? (Bass imaging) Wait, you came up for air? I’ll go look for an update on the yamaha’s now.
More Dynamic Speakers Than Vienna Acoustic It's what VA's do well that attracts us to them, but I did find myself listening to more small ensemble jazz with them. Every other speaker since has it's favorite type of music tho'.
More Dynamic Speakers Than Vienna Acoustic VA's have their own sound and you're going to trade some excellent spatial ques and sweet hi fq reproduction to get your slam. Im a ht setup for tv it may not matter but with music I think VA is one of the best at their price for delivering the go...
Borresen Acoustics Speakers - Have you heard them & what did you think? The one thing about the AG forum is no matter what speaker you want to talk about audiophiles are going to come on and post about whatever they like better, wait did I just describe myself.lol
Floor standing speaker recommendations new or used, $10,000 and under After posting on every forum I could find and reading recommendations for every speaker under the sun I just started buying and selling anything I could afford locally. I got to own several speakers that list over $20k and really learned about my ...
Questions about using audiogon to sell 1st time There has to be a certain amount of trust involved or the system doesn't work. I've bought a sold a few hundred items on ebay and a few here on Agon. It's worked for me 99% of the time. The few times it didn't work were almost always due to conf...
What should I choose?? You've heard the 2 new products together already right? Because you like the synergy of the 15 year old components you're taking a leap of faith you'll like the new combo as well. While i've never been a B&W guy I vote speakers first .
Revel F208 Review by Earl 3:45am@steve59 how about your F52? Do you get detailed soundstage where you can pinpoint the instruments? I bought my f52's after listening to the f208 and they are still my favorite speakers for imaging and sound stage. I thought the tweeter w...
Revel f208, dead center image but everything jumbled up? The complaints I hear from the performa 3 line is usually pinpoint imaging but no real sound stage. Try putting them within a foot of the wall behind them to help with bass.Revel prides themselves in wide dispersion designs so maybe some treatment...
Revel F208 Review by Earl Revels like big power and the front ported speakers don’t get as much room reinforcement in the bass which will affect perceived soundstage.
Floor standing speaker recommendations new or used, $10,000 and under Ten grand is enough to get you there if the components are up to the task. I had a chance to own a pair of Vienna Acoustics ‘Die Musik’ for $10k and when I pm’d owners and asked if they thought my components would be a good match I was told no, ev... |
