Devore 0/96 and Room Size
That should be an easy fix if the bass is a little heavy you can do some of your own custom sound treatments. I like using a 5 X 9 through rug and carpet tack strips to attach it to the rear wall. Still a little heavy put some of a foam mattress b...
Tannoy Turnberry vs Fyne 502SP?
Are the Turnberry's priced per pair or per single speaker?
Subwoofer boom is too much for me...
Mikeydee: Sure plug the bung hole. Let us know it it works on your subs.
Did you ever buy too much bass?
I put a Swarm in my VW van and us it to extract revenge from those young upstarts  when we are at a stop light.
Did you ever buy too much bass?
There can never be too much bass. Simply a bad listening room.
Convincing your local dealer to let you try speakers at home
How about this: Tell the dealer your will pay him to come to your home and look at your set up your other components and cables and placement and music you listen to and at what volume. Ask him to recommend a speaker for you.

Why are there so many wooden box speakers out there?
I would have no way of knowing the " correct shape ". Again it is very dependent on the material used. The idea that giving the rear waves off the back of the drivers random walls to bounce off of is fine only if you expect those waves to bounce a...
Why are there so many wooden box speakers out there?
What did you think they were going to use, a high quality cabinet that moves the back waves away from the drivers ( we don't want to hear the back waves do we ) then with the waves moving toward the rear to a material that will covert the energy o...
Raising Subs?
Well something better might just be pair of speakers that make you forget about the bass.
Why are there so many wooden box speakers out there?
Much easier. to package rectangles than round objects.
