Those look like really good speakers...Even though they recommend 40 watts min...I would consider going with a 300B amps...They usually like to cover their ass. The midrange is what is important...your wife will be happy..forget the subs they will...

I should mention that 10 years I was a dealer for Wilson Benesch. It became very difficult for me to carry speakers that could not even come close to sound so clean, so transparent, so fast, but the midrange was to die fo...and they sound like rea...

I would not hesitate to strongly recommend Wilson Benesch speakers....totally high tech without the sterile sound...real organic music....

I really like the Sophie Electric 300B...available. in mono blocks or integrated...hightly rated not highly marketed. Very organic which a 300B amp should be and plenty of head room as well.

small monitor speakers should have superior transient response. Bass drivers usually can not keep up...just a thought...please ignore it if you find it offense.

Hoping to discover more regarding the sound that the speaker has. Thin, forward, bottom heavy...feel free to use words like rich midrange and organic sounding and realistic presentation... Often speakers that are appreciated most simply work well...
