Internet Radio I would suggest you try the TuneIn app for the iPod. It is just amazing what .99 cents can do for you.I use it with a Wadia 170i box for great sound, but even on the analogue outs, its not half bad.The TuneIn app is THE most complete way of gettin...

Sim Audio P-3 or P-5 ? IMHO the W-3 has a dry and dark sound, but if you like it, the P-5 will give you a bit more refinement. As for the P3, it is a bit of an oddball in the line, I don't think you will gain anything.Good luck
budget towers? $500/pair If you can stretch your budget to around $ 750 (with a bit of bargaining), try to spot a Polk Audio LSi 15. Forget about the Polk name, this is a serious speaker that will compete with many 2 to 4K ones and beat them. An absolute steal for the pri...

Integrated SS amps - Luxman vs. Simaudio Moon? I am a past owner of the wonderfull Parsifal encore. I have tried many amps with them. The worst match was with Moon gear ( Monn i-5 and P5-w5 combo). Dry and lifeless, at least for my taste, but they sure looked good, about all I can say to their...
Redgum RGi120 or Simaudio Moon I-5? An easy choice at least for me, having owned both units, and depending on your priorities:For resale value, the Sim, by a wide margin. For sound, and dependability, the Redgum. By a wider margin.
cayin vs. primaluna vs. unison for totem arros I have owned a total of 3 Cayin integrateds. Great sound, great build, great value, and very reliable. If this is your first time with tubes, try to pick up the inexpensive Cayin T 30 with the extended bias mod, (they usually have it). You can use ...
Tube Question - Do they need time to "Break In" No. They simply need to warm up to ideal operating temperature.Tubes actually do not break-in,it is the opposite, they start ''breaking-down'', losing their efficiency hour-by-hour until they no longer provide musical satisfaction and have to be r...
Is mp3 320 mbps good enough for your ears? If you wonder if you can hear the difference well, there is your answer right there. Only your own ears count here.
