Are there any current high end dipole speakers (dynamic)?
Some good recommendations above.  I’ll add Nola as worth auditioning.
Network Switches
@allane — no, I don’t have any experience with Ruckus as it pertains to audio.  But they have such a clear advantage when it comes to access point technology, I think it would stand to reason that their switchers don’t suck as compared to others. ...
need recommendations for standmount speakers
Save yourself a bundle and buy a nice pair of Joseph Audio RM7XL Monitors available now on AudioMart for $1300. You’ll be thrilled.
Network Switches
I recently got introduced to Rukus for access points and switches. They seem to have interesting and proprietary technology that may have benefits for audio. Just another thought.
Standmounts: Sonus Faber Venere 2.0 Opinions?
I had the 2.5s in my system on extended demo. They’re decent, but the cabinet is lightweight and resonates despite SF trying to mitigate it through shaping the cabinet. I’d avoid the Venere series — there’s a reason they discontinued it relatively...
Moving speakers from downstairs to upstairs, degrading ?
+1 @georgehifi — I made the opposite move and went from having my system on the second floor to the basement with concrete floor.  Bass was unruly and tough to control on the second floor.  I ended up putting marble slabs under my speakers, which ...
The Home Theater Company Collusion Theory
+1 @millercarbon.  If u want a receiver experience, have a receiver experience.  The “box” is one of the highest cost components in electronics, so why would you bother putting crap electronics from a receiver into another box?  Makes sense they s...
Recommend speakers for a large living room
Joseph Audio Pearl 3s with Audiokinesis Swarm.  Boom.
Speakers
Thank you very much for your opinions. How about used Aerial Acoustics 6T because Sensitivity 90 dB for 2.83 volts at 1 meter on axis. C’mon dude.  Really?  You’re talking specs?  How about Aerials?  How about ANYTHING???  We have absolutely NO i...
Atma-Sphere MP-3 Mk. 3.3 vs. VAC CPA-1 MK II or Avatar Super - Recommendations
What about Linear Tube Audio, Backert, Audio Research, or Don Sachs?  Why so limited?
Bookshelf Speakers that have to be up against the wall
But the OP specifically said "they lost most of their imaging." Well, of course they did! Anything else would defy the laws of physics. No amount of speaker design, no "voice" can change the fact the sound coming off the speaker hitting a flat sur...
Bookshelf Speakers that have to be up against the wall
Sjofn “the clue” speakers are made to be against the wall and use the room to augment the sound.  Due to this, the bass that comes out of them almost defies belief.  Heard them at a couple shows and everyone was in disbelief at what they were hear...
Warm up time for amps
My experience with my McCormack amp is similar to what you’ve experienced with your 28bsst2s — about 20 minutes to settle despite leaving amp on 24/7.  I’d do two things.  First I’d call Bryston to see if there’s something specific to the 7b3 (how...
Considering simplifying my system... talk me down (or whatever)
Yeah I’m with others to resist the temptation to change since you love your system so much the way it is now.  There’s a very good chance you won’t like it quite as much if you downsize.  And, really, what are you actually getting by “downsizing?”...
Let me know your choice please
Lots of information, but what sonic characteristics are most important to you and what exactly are you looking to improve upon over what you have now?
