| Dahlquist DQ 10, is it worth new woofer? I had a pair of these in the late 70's, they have good output down to around 40hz or so. They need a good amount of power to come alive as they are very power hungry speakers. I loved the sound of mine.Dave | |

| Tube subwoofers? It would be best to use a passive sub with outboard tube amp if you wanted to go this way. I don't think think the tubes would last very long inside an active sub..plus there would be heat to think of, not a good idea for active.Dave | |

You have one sub out on your receiver so you run a y splitter into the two input of the Adcom, you then hook a pair of speaker cables to a stereo sub..sounds right to me. Passive sub needs an amp and amp need a signal. Something wrong with the Adc... | |
