Do Streamer only devices really impact sound quality?
@jjss49  No doubt!   One has to address both noise and jitter in order to get optimal streaming sound quality. In most cases one will have treated noise issue first since more easily addressed with more affordable devices. If still residual fati...
Talk about modems
@westborn Just looked at your new modem. The SB8200 has two ethernet ports, one will go to streamer, other to remote control device. Most likely you're going to have to use a laptop as this device, and it must have ethernet port, everything hard w...
Talk about modems
You can connect modem directly to streamer, hopefully that modem is Broadcom chip based. The only issue I see is how does your remote or control device see streamer on another network, my smartphone or tablet require wifi. Seems to me you're going...
Do Streamer only devices really impact sound quality?
@lollipopguild  Amen. The one nit is high level of detail can co-exist without fatigue. This is the plateau I finally surpassed after well over 30 years of trying. Fatigue in the digital realm is caused by jitter, I'm really beginning to believe h...
Digital is far better than vinyl
I doubt more recent posters don't get the satire, plenty of posts point to it. Unless they're not reading through thread, this is chance for them to profess their bias, can't pass up the chance. The true believer can't help themselves.
Digital is far better than vinyl
@sonic79 My point is while they may think they're arguing sound quality, they really aren't. Their predetermined bias has influenced their decisions of where to spend money, this unequal performance only further reinforces this predetermined bias.
Digital is far better than vinyl
The constant and consistent need to argue over this points to something more than technical issues, that something more being belief. Based on my observations digital detractors have issues with the entire nomenclature of how digital is implemente...
Cen. Grand DSDAC 1.0 (vs Pontus II)
It was $4.7K when I looked.   Without any reviews, likely very few will take the risk, especially as price rises. I believe I was first to take risk with Musetec 005 her in US, turned out well. I'd be more tempted if 005 wasn't producing at such...
Do Streamer only devices really impact sound quality?
@tk21 You got it, context is everything. @adasdad Not going to speak for ghdprentice, but my custom build streamer has been directly compared to top tier streamers such as his Aurender, Taiko Extreme, as well as to many lower tier, and it rightly...
Dedicated line, how many outlets two or four?
Three 20amp circuits 10/2 Romex, Oyaide R1 outlets, one circuit for power conditioner, all equipment except amps, one for monoblock or stereo amps, one for streamer lps with 30amp capability. Amps and high current power supplies not good on power ...

I too just discovered this dac the other day, Power Holdings in USA has it on Black Friday sale at present. May be perfect time to purchase as loss leader, may be trying to gain foothold in North American market. Haven't seen a single review.
Musetec (LKS) MH-DA005 DAC
I haven't given up on any country's audio offerings, my system built with Asian, European and North American components. Seems South America missing in action with audio?
Musetec (LKS) MH-DA005 DAC
Thinking I might contact Arthur at Power Holdings for demo.
Musetec (LKS) MH-DA005 DAC
Now we need some reviews. Always curious about Chinese dacs, some pretty nice ones out there. Assuming Chinese dacs offer great value, would expect big things at this price.

Here is another interesting dac I only recently discovered, may be another dac that hits way above it's weight. https://power-holdings-inc.com/Cen-Grand-DSDAC1-0-Deluxe-Model-DAC
