I've been selling heavier gear for lighter gear
Also, weight puts a damper on resale options as the cost of shipping continues to climb.

The Searcher…“There is always something better” Yes, what I have sounds great… but come on… there is an always something better… the search continues.
Open Baffle Experience
Moonwatcher….I would note that your room is not really an issue for open baffles as long as you can have them 3-4’ out from the wall and as long as you match the woofer size/bass output to the room.

I’ve read some things in this thread that don’t jibe with my experience. I’ve had great box speakers that didn’t sound boxy. I now have Spatial Audio M3 Sapphires that are not forward and not harsh. I’ve driven them with a class d 2Cherry, an Orch...

I often think that at the shows, what we think is "overly bright" is in fact "overly loud" for the room/treatments...and compared to how we will position and listen at home.
New MOFI speaker (Andrew Jones)
It does appear from all the people posting over on SHF that the AJ Mofi's sounded really good at CAF....and no one thought they were too bright.

The suggestion to just throw away the box is somewhat simplistic in that the bass and midbass will sound weak. The better sounding open baffle speakers don’t have this issue because the designer selected drivers to compensate and produce a balance...

New MOFI speaker (Andrew Jones)

What should be mandatory in every professional published review-
Not Mandatory....but....some things I would like to see because they would be helpful to potential buyers: 1.  Take your own photos...top, bottom and back...and obviously the front and if it is speakers, grill on and grill off...why the bottom......
Why do so many sellers take offense to offers on their listings?
I had a boss who once told me that prior to setting a product price he would contract so market research, look at the competition and then finally ask the customers what they were willing to pay.    There is plenty of info available to allow the ...
No mention of LRS / LRS+ on Magnepan website???
I suspect that until they put a dent in the backlog, they won’t show up on their website.
Spatial X5 speakers
It doesn’t make much sense to go from 6 models to 2 models and not comment on why…..often when there is an information void, people can assume the worst.
No mention of LRS / LRS+ on Magnepan website???
Magnepan told me they are currently producing orders received in May… and they have delayed production of the optional stands for about 3-4 months.    Meantime, another great review.  Thanks
Atma-Sphere Class D… Amazing
Bob… thanks…in my case, my amp is setting out on full display in the main living area.
