What is the Silliest Accessory You Have Ever Seen.
Question - if these are so good at what they do, how come I've never seen them in any of the many recording studios I've been in?

@daveyf Fair enough. I haven't heard them, so my skepticism is simply that. And building on your argument, how can someone charge more than a luxury sports car for a cube of metal that just amplifies music?

@daveyf point taken. But then what justifies the $1,700 cost? For, in essence, a few pieces of curly wood on a stand?

@raysmtb1.  Well said.

I agree with the OP. But then again, I invested in two synergistic research PHTs, those tiny little green and black doodads that you put on your cartridge or tonearm for, apparently, an earth shattering change of sound. Did I hear a change? Yes, b...
Raven Audio Nighthawk
Interesting. I had the Pathos Classic Mk3 for a few years and really enjoyed it. Went to a Lyngdorf 2700 and couldn't get rid of it fast enough. Then almost bought a Raven Blackhawk before finding a Line Magnetic 518 that's now making me happy.

Question: When said individual (or anyone, really) gets that cease and desist notice, then what happens? I mean, it's not like they stop playing the songs immediately.
Speaker suggestions under 4k
@mofojo nevermind MC. He's a knowledgeable guy, but as soon as anyone disses his precious tektons, he goes in the full snark mode.
What did your system look like 30 years ago?
JVC boombox with detachable speakers, dual cassette, high-speed dubbing, and equalizer. Totally badass for a teenager.
Hana Cartridge for MMF-7 ?
Agreed. I'm running one now on my VPI HW-19 Mark 4 using an LFD LE phono pre that puts out 53 dB of gain. Plenty of gain on that
Record for vinyl.
Growth rate aside, there's an undeniable awareness of vinyl that slides into acceptance for many who were not really cognizant of vinyl five years ago. These same people also stream, if course, but they see vinyl as a fun, small complement to that...
Dirt cheap set-up
@fuzztone. Understood. I'm a mite too sensitive to possible irony on message boards. But thanks for your sincerity!
Dirt cheap set-up
@reubent that's a great suggestion! After the new year, will bring my boys to our local record store to pick their own music, no matter what it is.
Dirt cheap set-up
@noromance That's a good call. I'm thinking 50 to 100 hours of running, at least according to stereo file.
