New Spatial Audio M4 Ultra

Perreaux current products
I recall them being highly publicized in the early and mid 2000's or so, around the same time Halcro, Quicksilver, and a few others were getting lots of pages. Good, solid amps with a spacious sound.
Best Basic CD Player (no SACD, USB, etc.)
Anything by Rotel is going to sound great and last you forever
Trying to hook up Totem 1 Bookshelf’s …..
The top set connects to the tweeters; the lower to the woofers. You could run what's called a bi-wire cable (Generic Amazon set here) from your amp to the speakers after you remove the jumper cables. Opinions are divided as to whether biwiring mak...
Trying to hook up Totem 1 Bookshelf’s …..
No worries. Make sure you have jumpers between each set (black to black and red to red), - i believe the Model 1s come with their own wire jumpers. then connect your cables to the lower set of connectors.
My terrible Customer Journey with the Line Magnetic LM-503PA Mono Vacuum Tube Amps
That is indeed a shame. I had the LM 518 and loved it. Problem free. Still, you seem to have hit a tragedy of errors across the board. It's a shame LM hq is unresponsive,  especially considering what you paid. Hopefully they'll learn about your re...

@soix A friend of mine is a BB/Mag install supervisor. She says the majority of their installs are "S3" -- soundbars, satellites, and subs. Klipsch and SVS are their biggest sub sellers.
Advice for bookshelf speakers
If you can find them, consider Reference 3A de Capo's. 15" high. Huge sweet spot (mine are 58" apart), high efficiency (92db). They are rear-ported; however, mine are about 18" from the rear wall if you can finagle that
Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC?
I don't have the expertise that many of you here have, but I do have recent experience with both types of cartridges. For the last few years I've run a Hana ML MC on both a VPI HW-19 and a NAD 588. A few months ago I found a killer deal on a light...

"Mcjello" is a dope stage name
Lack of Female Representation
Years ago I visited a girlfriend in Denver and took her to a hi-end audio store (don't remember the name) to share sonic bliss with her. To no avail. She glanced at the coffee table on which was a spread of magazines and remarked, "Oh, these are h...

Direct 2 Disc
To echo the OP, I found a D2D recording of the Toronto Chamber Orchestra playing Bachs Concertofor Violin and it simply sounded incredible. Full and lush and a huge Soundstage.
Want to add vinyl to my system.
Seriously. In fact, based on your budget you could start with a Rega 3 or a good Technics 1200 feeding into a $500 phono stage and absolutely love the sound.
