Cardas vs Shunyata power cords question I tried all the Shunyata power cords except the Anaconda. The best value to my ears was the Sidewinder Gold. But I recently came across a relatively unknown power cord company called DCCA. Since I've been a power cord "junkie" since the beginning,...
Best Powercord - SIZE Matters along with price ??? I can also attest to the Locus Design Schurter in-line iec adapter. It really makes it much easier to try out a variety of power cords. I can also 2nd Jayctoy's recommendation for the new DCCA power cords. I have just ordered two of the basic Extr...
Electraglide Epiphany vs Kubala-Ssna vs.... The Epiphany, probably, like most of the Electraglide cords, takes quite some time to break in. That could be a possibility.
What cables would sound best with my system?? I had the Monster M2.4 and in my system the Acoustic Zen Satori( although a bit more expensive) are far superior in all respects. You can usually find a used 8 ft. pair for @ $300.00-$350.00. Good luck evaluating.
Attention to anyone on Texas Gulf Coast Eldragon, Viva Las Vegas! My condolences, sincerely, for the loss of your job. I hope all works out well for you.
Electraglide Epiphany vs Kubala-Ssna vs.... Any status Art and Jadem on your cable shootout? Give us a quick report, if possible.
Power cords, most effective placement: Agnes3, Is your power cord new or used? Even so, it will require some break in. I would suggest that you start with it hooked up to your amp since it draws more current. Leave it there for a good 150 hours or so( if new). Once you hear it come int...

Speaker Cable to Replace Zu Cable Wax I had the Zu Wax,DH Labs Q-10 and the River Cable Flexy 6 out-performed them both( at least to my ears). I tend to go for the more natural and realistic sound. Good luck in your search.
Freezer Cryoed Cables... Okay, Richard. Now fess up. This whole thread you started was just a joke, wasn't it? You crazy guy. Now stop it and start writing about something "real".
Freezer Cryoed Cables... Methinks we've beat this thread to death, or are we all just letting off some steam( to help thaw out this frozen thread)?
Freezer Cryoed Cables... Thanks for the great advice Gunbei. I don't think I've ever tried an Omaha steak. I also would like to eat at a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse some day. Living out in the "boonies" has kept me in a rather secluded position. Great idea for using the dry i...
Freezer Cryoed Cables... Well, thank you Mr. Gunbei( pronounced Goom-bay to the uninitiated). I don't understand why some people mistake you for that green,slant-headed clay character. The key word that nailed it for me in that AA thread was "don't" when it should have bee...
Freezer Cryoed Cables... Rpatrick, Are you the initial poster of mariep@aol.com on this AA thread ? I think you are. Am I right, Richard?
Cables for B&W and Rotel system. I started out in my comeback into "Audiophile-dom" about 3 years ago and began my new re-listening with a Rotel and B&W set-up. I tried many cables and power cords. One speaker cable I found that was very synergistic with the B&W's is an o... |
