Buying large audio equipment
I made a vow not to buy anything from BB. LOL
A trend I've noticed in ads.
Another thing I see today...there is an ad running for an amp and when I googled for info about it, I found that the same ad was running over a year ago...with the same line about moving and that he’s had it for 3 months and it only has 5 hours if...

Opinions on these budget integrateds?
I hate to see people pay more than they have to and for stuff that's not as good as what can be had cheaper. But it's not my $.
Want to try separates, what to expect.
I briefly thought about doing the same  until I realized that the  "massive" improvements that some claim are actually subtle at best. Not to say that improvements are impossible, just unlikely after a lot of $.

Audyssey and Tritons
12blistn...I haven't had time to mess with it. I will do a manual tweak soon.
Audyssey and Tritons
mzkmxcv...sure. I'll go spend another 3800 to get what I already have.
Do you trust Audiogon?
I did pretty much trust the process at Agon...until this thread. The number of people that think it's ok to skirt banking laws and the policies of Paypal and Agon are enlightening.
Send Inlets to be Cryoed
This is like an audio version of The Onion.
Vintage receivers???
If you can find a 70s vintage Sherwood, run, don't walk, to get it.
Your most disappointing purchase or audition?
When I heard Harbeths. My thought was "THIS is what all the hoopla is about??"
Audyssey and Tritons
Perhaps not by strict definition. But they produce more prodigious bass than anything else I've heard. Including standalone subs.
Anthem or Emotiva
Anthem.
