Who u gots da most uv???
You folks are probably doing what i did i.e. digging up old stuff that you forgot you had and giving them a spin. It's amazing how many good discs we have that end up collecting dust just because we forget about them. I expected to see stuff like ...

Decware Zen with Paradigm?
NOT a good combo to say the least. Paradigm's want voltage and current and this amp has neither. Sean>
VenHaus Pulsar™ interconnects
I noticed just a wee bit of upper midrange "hardness" ( some would call it "glare" ) with the Pulsar's initially, but it was quickly and easily subdued via my cable burner. Having said that, this is a cable that seems to repond to burn-in relative...
Woofer dust cap repair advice, HELP
Some woofers have vented pole pieces with no screening in the vent hole. If such is the case, you can stick a long pencil through the hole in the back and use the soft eraser to try and massage the dents in the dust cap back into place very gradua...
Review: Ridge Street Audio Poiema Interconnect
Having dealt with Larry aka LAK on a personal basis several times, i would find it hard to believe that he was shilling for this company. My guess is that he's simply sharing his enthusiasm for a product that he thinks works well within the confin...
OK Come Clean, whats in your closet ?
Joe, 2600's typically sell for about $325-$375. The lowest price i've ever seen one sell for was about $275. Other than that, i wasn't aware of Kimber's connection to Bud, but i guess that after looking back, the crossover design might be more vis...
Why all these JC-1's for sale?
Audioengr: I don't doubt that the amps weren't a "matched pair" and / or operating exactly as they should. This is part of the problem with buying mass produced gear. Having said that, we've already seen that many "custom built" and "mega-dollar" ...
Soundtracks that ROCK
Papertrail: Men With Brooms??? Is this a movie about high school custodians that like to crank up the PA while sweeping the halls and classrooms or something similar ??? : ) Never heard of that one. Sean>
OK Come Clean, whats in your closet ?
Joe: It was probably a blessing in disguise that Bud's ST-1200 blew up. The 2600 is a far superior sounding amp. Good on you for taking care of him : ) Sean>
Xindak Cable Question
Brent: Thanks for the response and clarification. I can see how Nordost's might be of value in a multi-channel music and / or HT system. They definitely sound very sharp, precise and focused, which would aid in better localization and a reduction ...
Building Amp Stands
Before you start drilling holes at random, try reading the Stereophile article entitled "Bad Vibes" by Shannon Dickson. From what i can remember, it mentions a formula that supposedly tells you the optimum or near optimum place to locate spikes / ...
OK Come Clean, whats in your closet ?
Looks like a lot of nice "junk" collecting dust in some of these closets : ) Sean>
Speakers for loud listening. really loud...
Thom: I like listening to inter-station white noise as broadcast over the FM radio at the aforementioned levels. The dynamics, liquidity and harmonic structure are to die for at those volumes. The best part is that it is free and you don't have to...
Xindak Cable Question
Brent: Judging from what you wrote above, it would appear that you find the "lack of decay", "lack of harmonic structure", "lack of body & warmth" and the "TOO fast" sound of Nordost to rub you the wrong way. Would this be a logical deduction ...
