How long can one go with interconnects to a cart.? About one meter is about as far as you can go without significant loss. If you put the phono stage close to the TT you can run longer cables from it. | |

Why are LCDs more popular than plasma? The only real advantage LCD has over plasma is the burn in problem and it is not as much an issue as it once was. Modern plasmas are about as susceptible to burn in as CRTs. Most people don't realize that an LCD screen can suffer from burn in also... | |
Putting 2 speakers on 1 channel, issues? It will be a 3ohm load which is fine if played at low volume. But keep in mind it takes more volume for outdoor speakers due to the lack of boundaries. A speaker selector would let you turn off the speakers not being used and protect the amp. | |
Hypothetical - CD or SACD Player? I don't really believe one has to spend lots of money to hear the difference between SACD/DVDA and CD. Of course you can get better performance at a higher price, it's not always the case. I have a Denon 5910ci that does a great job. Although not ... |
