Dec 16, 2009	Denon DVD-A1UDci vs Marantz UD-9005 I have a Denon 5910 CI and an Oppo BDP-83 and I prefer the Oppo for SACD. The Denon is better on CD. I will probably have my Oppo upgraded to the SE version.
Dec 14, 2009	Driving 1 ohm The Acoustat 2s aren't supposed to drop below 3 ohms and only require over 50 watts. Maybe a fairly powerful tube amp will work fine with them. Hopefully you can try one before buying.

Dec 12, 2009	Booming Tunes Move the speakers well away from the walls. Alo lower the xover for the sub lower than the roll off of the monitors til they sound right.

Dec 03, 2009	Aesthetix Collisto Signature or SLP 05 Preamp? I liked the Calypso OK but it was easily bettered by the PS Audio PCA-2. I think the Callisto is probably a better Linestage than the Calypso but I haven't heard it myself.

Nov 29, 2009	In wall -/ in ceiling speaker suggestions please Niles Audio has multiple price points and make great products. They also make volume controls and speaker selectors. The volume controls are important due to differences in room size and acoustics.
