Jan 02, 2006	Best "P" mount cartridge? The Shure V15Vmr is not a P mount. The Blue Point Special is a P mount with an adapter that can be removed to work with P mount headshells. I am not sure if it is still made though.

Jan 01, 2006	Help-Repainting a turntable I would use acrylic automotive paint. If not you could also use Rustoleum HardHat spray. It is much better than other spray paint and is available at Home Depot. Real Laquer is almost impossible to find.

Dec 25, 2005	Subwoofer w. Passive Line Stage? You can go into the sub and out to the amp using the sub's crossover. Or if your sub is equipped, you can go out of the speaker outs on the amp into the sub and on to your speakers. The first way is the best.
Dec 25, 2005	How far for Interconnects?? I wouldn't worry about it. We often run interconnects longer than that to tie two systems together and it works fine.
Dec 25, 2005	DVD -R or DVD +R -Rs are the only DVDR sanctioned by the DVD commitee or whatever you call them. DVD-Rs seem to play in more machines also but with newer devices, they both seem to work equally well.
Dec 25, 2005	Smoke and DVD Have you tried cleaning the laser lens? Get some tape head cleaning fluid and a Q Tip. Or, buy a liquid disc type cleaner. Of course it would be best for you and your equipment not to smoke. Besides, it makes everything smell bad.
