| Volume Control Too Sensitive You can put 10 or 20 db fixed in-line attenuators between your pre-amp and amp. Roth manufactures them - minimal, if an sonic down side. This will do the trick or you can have the pre-amp manufacturer lower the gain but it's the same thing. | |

| Replacement power. Ps It looks like the Lamms are 100 wpc amps. A good 60wpc (or more) tube amp/amps might be a way to move the sound in a better direction. However the Lamms are well respected so it might be hard to do better but tubes might take you in a new direction. | |
