No Direction Home, Dylan documentary by Martin Scorsese.
I still like and admire Jackson.  Don't agree with your harsh assessment.
Vandersteen updates and amplifiers
Maybe a little off-base, but I am running my Vandy 5As with a Music Reference RM9 SE, with a Music Reference pre.  I love this combo.

Wow, such a broad sweeping statement.  Sorry to read this, and realize how much you have missed.  So much great music after that record.  So much.  But, to each his own.  Rock on.

Merle Haggard and Bob Dylan here.  Stones and Beatles in the mix, but not close.
Give Satanic Majesties A Chance
I tend to favor Voodoo Lounge.  I know, maybe the only one.  But I do have my original LP of Satanic, and have the SACD box set that has this recording too.  I like it.
Great country recording
bop, Karl Blau has my favorite version of That's How I Got To Memphis, on a classically-great (I mean that!!) recording titled "Introducing Karl Blau". All covers, all wonderful wonderful songs, and wonderfully recorded.  Highly recommended!!!
