Tone controls? Sorry about the heresy.
I have two of these, absolutely love them, and the third system has a Luxman pre with tone controls on the remote.  Tone controls of some sort are a necessity; not always needed, but when they are, they are wonderful.

Cat Stevens.... Great Artist or Wacko?
Great artist, no doubt.  I saw his Cat's Attic tour a few years back at the Tower in Philadelphia, phenomenal.  When he sat at the piano and did Sad Lisa I was finished.  A great great artist, no hesitation, no doubt.   
Should a stereo soundstage be 3D or 2D?
I have always assumed it meant left-right and then some amount of depth, so I took that to be 3 dimensions.  Images not just between the speakers (the left-right-center), but also behind.
